Technology staff have scheduled an outage for today, Monday, October 19, from 8 - 9 p.m. to complete security upgrades.
During the outage, key card access to all schools and administrative buildings, and Central Office applications located in the data center will be unavailable. Any staff members working onsite in the Department of Education/Central Office building will not have access to the Internet, wireless, telephones, or any HCPSS systems. Once the work is complete, users may continue to use technology systems as usual.
People in all other school and admin buildings, along with users working remotely, will have access to systems including:
- Synergy
- Canvas
- Microsoft 365 (email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Google Suite
- Workday
- Desk phones
- Wireless
- Internet
