  • FEMA for Kids: This site provides some basic information about disasters and may be good for lower level abilities.
  • Natural Disasters: If you teach anything concerning natural disasters, this is a site that may be of interest. It has photos, videos, and some information about different natural disasters.

  • MIT OpenCourse: You may have heard about how MIT is releasing lectures to the public via the Internet. Here is the main link—perhaps a bit high level for the students, but it may be rejuvenating for you. It is like auditing a class at MIT via the Internet—what fun. Some other colleges have started doing this as well if you want to look around.
  • Technology Integration: This site is about integrating technology into the classroom. It is a good site to explore how technology can enhance instruction, rather than just using technology to use technology.
  • Noodle Tools Search Engine Categorization: Categorizes various search engines according to appropriate uses and qualities.
  • Search Engine Reviews: Reviews various search engines.
  • Search Engine Tutorial: Provides information on how to use Google, Yahoo! Search, and Ask.com search engines.

    Media Equipment Calendar

By using these tabs, you can find all the equipment that is available for you to sign out. It is best to email BOTH Danielle Dunn and Jackie Goddard when signing out anything from this calendar.     HaHS Video List

    The list of videos housed in the Media Center can be found here. Note the tabs that allow you to view this list in order by call number, alphabetically by title, or by type (DVD/VHS). You can also search for videos by looking at the Public Access Catalog (PAC) to see all videos owned by HaHS. Audio Visual material will have a call number that starts with "AV", will say "AV Collection", and/or have next to the title. Some are housed in different departments and if you know the title and you see it is checked out, we can let you know who to ask.
