CVS/Caremark Prescription Customer Service Line and Personal Sessions

CVS/Caremark will be the new prescription provider for all employees, retirees and their dependents enrolled in an HCPSS health care plan beginning Jan. 1.  Members will receive welcome kits along with their new prescription card in the mail in early December. Additionally, CVS/Caremark in collaboration with the HCPSS Benefits Office is offering the following resources to make the transition as easy as possible:

A dedicated customer service line for HCPSS members available anytime by calling 1-866-561-6894.
Questions best directed to this number include:

  • Is my medication covered?
  • What are less expensive products or covered products that I can use?
  • What will my copay be?
  • What pharmacies can I use (customer service can search by zip code to find specific pharmacies close to your preferred location)?

One-on-One sessions with a CVS/Caremark representative.  
Questions best directed to these one on one sessions include:

  • Do I need a new prescription?
  • When am I going to receive my new ID card/information?
  • What do I need to know about the prescription benefits? 
  • How can I make using my prescription benefits easier?
  • What pharmacies can I use?

 
One-on-One sessions will be available on the follow dates:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 30, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Dec. 5, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec.13  9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Employees must register online for a one-on-one session. There is limited availability.
