Hiring for 2023-2024 Innovative Pathways Evening Program

HCPSS staff interested in working for the Innovative Pathways Evening Program for the 2023-2024 school year are invited to complete the Hiring Interest Survey. Staff Compensation:

  • Staff must meet all hiring requirements BEFORE completing any work hours. All staff are expected to comply with the following:
    • Adhere to procedures in the HCPSS Employee Handbook.
    • Perform program expectations, including the use of instructional materials provided and student performance data to make instructional decisions and inform student grouping.
    • Attend all scheduled training sessions and program dates.
  • Pay is based on the employee’s attendance. Staff are not paid for hours not worked in the program.
    • Certificated teachers will earn $45 per hour and non-certificated staff providing instruction will earn $40 per hour for hours worked in the program.
    • Paraeducators will earn $25 per hour for hours worked in the program.
    • Planning hours may also be earned for certain activities at a rate of $45 or $40 per hour with pre-approval.

Hiring Interest Survey:

To be considered for hiring, complete the Hiring Interest Survey. Applications may be submitted through Friday, September 1st at 4:30 p.m.. The hiring survey will remain open until all positions are filled. Completion of the interest survey is NOT a formal offer of temporary employment. Program staff will review the information and follow-up with references as needed.

BSAP Community-Based Learning Centers- Vacancies Available

The HCPSS Black Student Achievement Program (BSAP) has positions available for the BSAP Community-Based Learning Centers (grades K- 5) at Forest Ridge Apartments and Swansfield Elementary School. Each program hosts an afterschool program, Monday through Thursday, for 2 hours each day. Positions include:

  • Site Coordinator (Pay Rate: $35/hour)
  • Assistant Site Coordinator (Pay Rate: $20/hour)

If you did not submit transfer requests for the next school year, you will have the opportunity to request a transfer for the 2023-2024 school year beginning February 2023.
