HCPSS Summer Program Temporary Employment Opportunity

The Howard County Public School System offers students a variety of academic and enrichment programs each summer. We are excited to invite you to submit your application to work within one of the following HCPSS Summer Programs:

  • Academic Intervention (AI)
  • BSAP Summer Institute
  • Extended School Year Summer School (ESY)
  • Extended School Year RECC (ESY RECC)
  • G/T Summer Institutes for Talent Development
  • Innovative Pathways High School
  • STARTALK Chinese Language Summer Camp

To be considered for a temporary position, complete the HCPSS Applitrack application for the summer program in which you would like to work. Please review the dates/times, locations, and pay scale by selecting Additional Information > Show/Hide under the program title before submitting an application.

Completion of an application is not a formal offer of temporary employment. Program staff will review the information and follow up with references as needed. The Summer Programs application will remain open until all positions are filled. We anticipate an initial screening of applicants will take place in March.

If you are interested in applying to more than one summer program, you will need to submit a separate application for each program. If you have additional questions, please contact the appropriate program lead listed in the position description.

The vacancy listings will continue to be updated and posted weekly by the close of business every Monday until August 1st.

 

The window to submit voluntary transfer requests for the 2021-2022 school year closed on April 1, 2021.  If you did not submit transfer requests for the next school year, you will have the opportunity to request a transfer for the 2022-2023 school year beginning February 2022. Specific dates and additional information will be posted on the Staff Hub at that time.
