Supports for HCPSS Staff

The Superintendent’s FY 2025 Proposed Operating Budget impacts all HCPSS staff, whether directly or indirectly. Employees are reminded that there are resources and supports available to them during this difficult time.

Staff whose positions are impacted by the proposed budget can reach out to their supervisors, chiefs or principals for private resources that may be beneficial.

Additionally, through the HCPSS Counseling and Support Services Program, staff and their family members have access to free professional counseling and support services to help manage their personal and professional needs. This program can connect staff to resources including emotional support, financial information, legal guidance, work-life solutions, online will preparation, and much more.

These confidential services are available through GuidanceResources, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Create an account by visiting guidanceresources.com, click on the “register” tab, and use the Organization Web ID: HCPSS. Employees and family members can receive up to six free counseling sessions per person, per episode, per year.

Any staff member in need of support during this time should contact their supervisor or utilize the Counseling and Support Services Program referenced above.
