Monday, August 19 - Synergy/HCPSS Connect Planned Maintenance - Planned maintenance has been scheduled for Monday, August 19 from 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. During this window there may be times users attempting to access the system will be presented with the Edupoint Maintenance message. Once the work is complete, users may continue to log in as usual.
ESP Inservice Professional Learning Days, Aug. 19 and 21, 2024
This year, paraeducators (on August 19 and 21) and student assistants (on August 21) will engage in professional learning with teachers. This strategic move will give paraeducators and student assistants direct access to curriculum/system updates and resources to support their work with students.
Please note, in addition to the inservice days below, paraeducators, student assistants, and other Educational Support Professionals will have access to optional in person and virtual learning opportunities throughout the year.
Monday, August 19
All paraeducators should attend at the grade level site at which they work. Sessions will run on an AM/PM format, which will enable special education staff to attend both curriculum based and special education content.
- Grades PK-K General Education paras and PreK Special Education Paras attend at Centennial High School
- Grade K General Education paras attend at Centennial High School
- Grades 1-5 General Education paras and K-5 Special Education Paras attend based on their schools and designated in the agenda below
- Middle and High School Paras(Special Education) attend at Howard High School
Wednesday, August 21
All paraeducators and student assistants, as well as other school-based student-facing ESPs will attend professional learning with their grade level/content teams. The professional learning will run on an AM/PM format and will be synchronous and virtual.
