Planned Central Office network outage, July 3

Technology staff have a planned outage scheduled for Friday, July 3 from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. to complete equipment upgrades. (Note: schools and offices are closed that day.) Once the work is complete, users may continue to use technology systems as usual.

During the outage, key card access to all schools and administrative buildings, and Central Office applications located in the data center will be unavailable. Any staff members working onsite in the Department of Education/Central Office building will not have access to the Internet, wireless, telephones, or any HCPSS systems.

People in all other school and admin buildings, along with users working remotely, will have access to systems including:

  • Synergy
  • Microsoft 365 (email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Google Suite
  • Workday
  • Desk phones
  • Wireless
  • Internet
