As of today, June 13, several content areas are open for consideration of new hires and voluntary transfers. For your reference, a listing of vacancies available within those content areas is provided. 

Vacancies for which staff within the Office of Human Resources are still identifying placements (teachers and paraeducators who have been involuntarily transferred/returning from a leave of absence) are not included at this time.

The listing of vacancies will continue to be updated and will be posted weekly by the close of business every Monday, until Aug. 1.

The window to submit voluntary transfer requests for the 2022-2023 school year closed on April 15, 2022.  If you did not submit transfer requests for the next school year, you will have the opportunity to request a transfer for the 2023-2024 school year beginning February 2023. Specific dates and additional information will be posted on the Staff Hub at that time.

Paraeducator Itinerant Position - Various Locations

Salary Grade 6
$16.85 - 29.38 per hour (additional .25/per hour for Title I pay when working at a Title I school)
35 hrs. / wk.; 204 days

This is a ten (10) month position on the current HCEA-ESP Secretaries and Assistants Salary Scale.  Actual salary placement will be in accordance with the salary procedures of the HCEA-ESP Master Agreement.  (Please refer to the job description for requirements).

All applicants must be highly qualified which can be achieved by having one of the following:  AA degree, 48 college credits, passing score on the Para Pro Exam.  All education completed outside of the United States and United States Territories require an evaluated transcript from a foreign transcript evaluation service  http://marylandpublicschools.org/about/Documents/DEE/Certification/ForeignEvaluationAgencies071717.pdf?
